Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ehaustec.co.uk (the “Website”) and any enquiry, registration or other interaction you make through it.

Please read these Terms before using the Website. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Website.

1. Who we are

E‑Haus Tec is a trading name of Emmerson & Stroud Talent Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16888752.

Our registered office is:

First Floor, Swan Buildings
20 Swan Street
Manchester
England
M4 5JW

You can contact us at:

2. What these Terms cover

These Terms apply to the public Website and the services made available through it, including:

  • viewing job vacancies and other Website content;

  • registering an interest in work or submitting a CV;

  • submitting a vacancy or recruitment enquiry;

  • contacting us about permanent, interim, contract, specialist-search or apprenticeship recruitment;

  • using any referral form or referral offer; and

  • accessing articles, salary information, market intelligence or other resources.

These Terms are not our full commercial terms of business with hiring organisations and are not, by themselves, a contract for us to fill a vacancy, introduce a candidate or supply a worker. Recruitment assignments, candidate introductions, fees, rebates, transfer fees and other commercial arrangements will be governed by separate terms agreed with the hiring organisation.

If separate written terms apply to a particular service, those terms will take priority if there is any conflict with these Website Terms.

3. Our role

E‑Haus Tec provides recruitment, talent-search and related workforce services, with a focus on energy, engineering, utilities and critical infrastructure.

Depending on the assignment, we may act as:

  • an employment agency introducing candidates for direct engagement by a hiring organisation;

  • an employment business supplying temporary or contract workers, where this has been expressly agreed; or

  • a recruitment or workforce consultancy providing services such as talent mapping, salary benchmarking, market intelligence, assessment and workforce planning.

We do not guarantee that:

  • a candidate will receive an interview or an offer of work;

  • a hiring organisation will receive or appoint a suitable candidate;

  • a vacancy will remain available;

  • an application will be successful; or

  • any employment, engagement, course or apprenticeship will continue for a particular period.

Final recruitment, employment, engagement and dismissal decisions are made by the relevant hiring organisation. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we are not the employer of candidates introduced for permanent employment.

4. Candidates and work-seekers

You must not pay E‑Haus Tec a fee for finding or trying to find you work. If anyone claiming to represent E‑Haus Tec asks you to pay a work-finding fee or provide banking passwords or other financial login details, do not proceed and contact us using the details in section 1.

By registering with us, applying for a role or submitting your CV, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is true, accurate and not misleading to the best of your knowledge;

  • you are entitled to provide the information and documents submitted;

  • you will tell us about any material change relevant to an application, including your availability, right to work, qualifications or licences; and

  • you will not knowingly provide forged, altered or misleading documents.

Registration does not create an employment relationship between you and E‑Haus Tec and does not guarantee that we will find work for you.

We will not send your CV or an identifiable candidate profile to a hiring organisation for a particular opportunity without first obtaining your agreement. We may discuss anonymised or non-identifying information with potential hiring organisations when exploring whether a suitable opportunity exists.

You remain responsible for deciding whether a role is suitable and for reviewing the final offer, contract, pay, working hours, location, benefits, status and other terms issued by the hiring organisation. Nothing on the Website is employment, tax, legal, immigration or financial advice.

5. Hiring organisations

Submitting a vacancy, booking a call, requesting candidates or making another enquiry does not require E‑Haus Tec to accept an assignment and does not, by itself, form a recruitment contract.

Before we provide recruitment services, the hiring organisation may be required to agree separate terms of business and provide information reasonably required for us to assess the role, the working environment and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Hiring organisations are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and non-misleading information about the role and organisation;

  • ensuring that vacancies, selection criteria and recruitment decisions comply with applicable law;

  • carrying out any final checks they are legally or professionally required to complete;

  • providing candidates with accurate written particulars and contractual terms; and

  • maintaining a safe and lawful working environment.

Any introduction fee, placement fee, rebate, replacement arrangement, transfer fee or other charge will be governed only by the applicable client terms of business, not by this Website page.

6. Apprenticeship recruitment and guidance

E‑Haus Tec may source, assess and introduce potential apprentices and provide practical guidance to employers about apprenticeship recruitment and workforce planning.

E‑Haus Tec is not:

  • an apprenticeship training provider;

  • an end-point assessment organisation;

  • a funding body;

  • a legal or financial adviser; or

  • responsible for operating an employer’s apprenticeship service account.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, any training, assessment or funded programme is delivered by an independent provider. Eligibility and funding depend on the applicable rules and the decisions of the employer, training provider and relevant public authority. Funding rules and apprenticeship standards can change.

Employers and candidates must review the final programme, eligibility, funding, employment and training documents provided by the relevant organisations. Information on the Website is general guidance and is not a guarantee of funding, eligibility, completion or qualification.

7. Job vacancies and Website information

We take reasonable care when publishing vacancies and other information. However:

  • vacancy details may be supplied by third parties;

  • salaries, rates, benefits, locations, hours and closing dates may change;

  • vacancies may be amended, filled or withdrawn without notice; and

  • market information, salary benchmarks and articles are general information only.

You should confirm all important details directly with us or the relevant hiring organisation before relying on them or making a decision.

We may correct, update, suspend or remove Website content at any time. We do not guarantee that the Website or any content will always be available, uninterrupted, complete or free from error.

8. Referrals

From time to time, we may operate candidate or client referral offers. A referral reward is payable only where the specific written conditions of the applicable offer are satisfied.

Referral offers may include eligibility rules, qualifying periods, exclusions, reward choices and claim deadlines. The terms displayed with the relevant offer will take priority over this section.

Unless an offer expressly says otherwise:

  • referring someone does not guarantee a reward;

  • the referred person must not already be known to or actively represented by us for the relevant opportunity;

  • the referred person must agree to being contacted;

  • you must not submit confidential information or a CV without the person’s permission; and

  • rewards are not transferable and no cash alternative is available where a non-cash reward is specified.

We may withdraw or amend a referral offer prospectively, but this will not remove a reward already validly earned under the terms that applied at the time.

9. Acceptable use

You must use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • submit false, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory or misleading material;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act for a person or organisation;

  • upload malicious code or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Website;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server, connected systems or data;

  • harvest personal data, scrape the Website at scale or use automated systems to extract content without our written permission;

  • reproduce or commercially exploit Website content except as permitted by law or with our written permission; or

  • use information obtained through the Website to harass, discriminate against or unlawfully contact another person.

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe the Website is being misused.

10. Intellectual property

The Website and its content—including text, branding, graphics, layout, reports, articles and original images—are owned by or licensed to Emmerson & Stroud Talent Ltd and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may view, download or print reasonable extracts for your personal use or for legitimate internal business evaluation. You must not copy, modify, republish, sell, license, distribute or commercially exploit Website content without our prior written permission, except where the law allows it.

“E‑Haus Tec” and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our written permission.

11. Information and material you provide

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is lawful, accurate and does not infringe another person’s rights.

You retain ownership of material you provide. You permit us to use it only as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide recruitment or related services, comply with law and administer our business, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any separate agreement that applies.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential or special-category information unless it is relevant and requested, or you have a lawful reason and authority to provide it.

12. Privacy and cookies

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our cookie information or cookie settings.

These Terms do not replace or limit your rights under applicable data protection law.

13. Third-party websites and services

The Website may link to job boards, scheduling tools, social networks, training providers, hiring organisations or other third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices.

A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party. You should review the third party’s own terms and privacy information before using its service or providing personal information.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are using the Website for business purposes, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • the Website and its content are provided for general information only and without warranties, representations or guarantees, whether express or implied;

  • we will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, data or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website; and

  • we will not be liable for a recruitment, employment, training, funding or commercial decision made in reliance on Website content without separate written advice or confirmation.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses or for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.

You are responsible for using suitable security and virus-protection measures when accessing the Website or downloading material.

15. Changes to the Website or these Terms

We may update the Website and these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal obligations.

The “Last updated” date at the top shows when these Terms were most recently revised. Updated Terms apply from the date they are published. If a change materially affects a service already governed by separate agreed terms, those separate terms will continue to apply unless they are validly changed.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect.

If we delay enforcing a right, that does not mean we have waived it.

No person other than you and Emmerson & Stroud Talent Ltd has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

17. Governing law and courts

These Terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you use the Website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you live.
